A Couple of Warm and Comfortable Days

It’s still warm, despite the late-weekend cold front, but it’s also comfortable. Temperatures have fallen into the mid-70s and we’ll get away with only a few ticks higher on the thermometer. In addition, dewpoint temperatures have been cut as well, and that’s always a good thing. Showers wrapped up early this morning and will not have a good chance to return for a spell.

Thanks to last night’s cold front, things have been feeling a lot better around here. We certainly don’t mind it getting warm, but a comfortable warm day is the best. That’s what we had Monday and will get again on Tuesday. Temperatures will run about the same or a little warmer Tuesday, but humidity stays low as well. A quick rebound will bring back the upper 80s by midweek. We will also be flirting with the low 90s for Friday and over the weekend. Rain chances remain low to non-existent thanks to a persistent blocking ridge of high pressure. Prepare for hot and humid (very summer-like) for this week.
