After a soggy Derby Weekend, we rebound with sunny skies and warm temperatures. An early summer feeling is in the air as temperatures soar into the upper 70s and low 80s with the abundant sunshine today and tomorrow. Skies will remain sunny to partly sunny through midweek. Rain chances will continue to rise each day.

We will have a *mostly* dry beginning of the week. A couple of fronts will wash out near us Tuesday and Wednesday leading to a small chance for showers and storms. If anything occurs it will be scattered at best, but widespread showers are not expected, and most residents will stay dry. Better chances for rain arrive late week. A low moving east will disperse showers and thunderstorms as a series of fronts arrive. The warm front will move through Wednesday warming us up nicely, but the cold front brings a soggy setup for the Thursday/Friday time frame. Showers should taper off through Mother’s Day weekend.
