Showers tapering off or otherwise finished for tonight. Cloud coverage is even thinning a little. Temperatures were warm this afternoon with plenty of humidity in place. Now, the northerly wind looks to cool us down and take away some of the moisture in the air.

Oaks 2019 ended as the 2nd wettest on record. Despite this, it was the better of the two days out at Churchill. Rain showers will creep back in early afternoon, after a mainly dry morning. Some sun may be seen before the rain showers move back in, but not much. Showers and a few thundershowers are expected through much of the afternoon and early evening; including the big race. Nothing severe is really expected, although further south and east that may not be the case. Better weather will follow into the end of the weekend. Temperatures will warm a little more, and the skies will clear some as well.
