Now that the rain from Beta is over, a ridge of high pressure will slide in bringing another round of great weather with it. Aside from several clouds moving in tonight and tomorrow morning, we'll have a nice Saturday ahead. You may want to trade in your pumpkin spice latte for the ice cream, though, on this first weekend of fall. Temperatures will begin to climb into the low 80s for both days this weekend with partly sunny skies Saturday and mostly sunny for Sunday.
The weather will stay relatively calm and quiet until we move on into next work week. That is when another cold front will sweep through KY and that will bring us an increased chance for rain showers, possibly a storm and dropping temperatures. The wild weather ride will linger through most of next week with high temperatures in the low/mid 60s making it truly feel like October as the new month arrives on Thursday. Rain chances will drop off too, leaving us with drier weather for the rest of the week pushing into next weekend.
