Trending Chilly for a Few Days

Temperatures will run below normal

After a snowy start to the week, things have calmed down a bit and we even saw sunshine today. We won't see much more sun the rest of the week with another approaching system in time for the weekend, but for now we remain dry. Normally, temperatures would be running in the upper 40s, but today we have struggled to even reach the upper 30s, and we know Monday and Tuesday were even colder. We will inch back up toward seasonable for a couple of days late this week before dipping again.

A couple of low pressures will bring the cooler air back to us for the weekend and beyond as well as a slight chance for rain starting late Thursday. Cold rain will be the name of the game for a chunk of Friday and only a shot at some snow flakes mixing in with rain for Saturday morning. This coming weekend system will not be like the snow we picked up this past Monday. High temperatures will run around 40 degrees for highs both Saturday and Sunday with overnight lows in upper 20s and low 30s.
