Are you ready to get sweaty? This Independence Day weekend is bringing the heat! High pressure takes over and our storm chance fades but the mercury is rising. Highs will slowly climb from the upper 80s Thursday and Friday into the low 90s this weekend. With muggy air blanketing the Commonwealth we'll also have to deal with heat indices well into the 90s. Stay hydrated, it'll last into early next week. Beyond isolated afternoon/early evening showers and storms we'll end up mostly to partly sunny. A better chance for pop-up, heat of the day driven storms will develop early next week.
