After rounds of heavy rain in mid May the spigot has essentially been shut off and it's getting drier by the day. Lexington had only picked up 0.78" of rain in the last 25 days. Normally we'd see 4.07" in that date range.
So we have good and bad news on the way. The good, multiple spikes in rain chances. We'll see scattered showers & storms Thursday and a few Friday followed by more widespread coverage early next week. The bad, a few of those storms may impact what's looking to be a hotter and sunnier Father's Day weekend. They'll fire up late Sunday before really kicking in Monday-Tuesday.
