Stagnant Summer Weather Persists

Summertime heat and humidity continue to blanket the Commonwealth midweek. We'll top out around 90° Wednesday with the heat index well into the 90s again. That now routine chance for afternoon/evening pop-up showers and storms will fire as well. Watch for locally heavy rain and isolated strong/severe storms. Thursday- more of the same. A cool front will make a run at the Ohio Valley and wash out as it does so, but it'll also throw a round of more widespread showers & storms our way Friday.
