Our first accumulating snow of the season shattered a record set 117 years ago! 2.3" in Lexington. It finally winds down Tuesday morning as snow showers and flurries slowly depart... but the impact will linger. With temperatures in the 20s and a biting wind chill in the teens it is cold out there. Watch for icy, snow covered spots on the roads (especially bridges and overpasses) and the potential for a slick commute. We'll end up partly sunny and dry later in the day but highs will struggle to hit the mid 30s, barely above freezing. Expect some moderation midweek with sunshine Wednesday and highs back in the 40s but overnight lows will stay in the 20s into the weekend.
