The Traveler's Advisory has been expanded southward for tonight and Tuesday morning. It now extends to the I-64 corridor, including Lexington. Late tonight a light wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will begin with impacts possible on the morning commute. Temperatures will be close to freezing, so driving conditions may be variable over short distances. Be especially careful on bridges which can ice before the roads. The advisory expansion is designed as a heads up to the possible driving problems Tuesday morning and not for the amount of snow and ice that are possible. We'll have more on LEX 18.
