We're on the verge of a significant pattern change with cooler and wetter weather inbound. Showers and storms will develop Thursday and continue on and off Friday into Saturday as a stalled front focuses waves of rain across the Commonwealth. Areas that see repeated rounds will see an increased chance for flash flooding. A flash flood watch is in effect for most of the area except southern counties until Friday morning. We'll end up with a rainfall range from 2" to 4". With all the cloud cover and precipitation expect it to cool down quite a bit, highs will trend below average- in the upper 70s to low 80s into the weekend.
