Rain Out, Cooler Air Back In

Temperatures get back to normal

After a stretch of really great weather and three record highs broken this week, we now return you to your normally-scheduled November weather. Today's cold front brought us anywhere between a few tenths of an inch in central and southern KY to 1.7 inches in eastern and southeastern KY. The rain is wrapping up now and moving east as is the cold front, but now the cooler air blows in from the northwest. Skies will clear for late week which will be nice to see the sun again, but the jackets will be needed again too.

Moving toward the weekend, temperatures will keep at a normal-ish pace with Sunday looking a bit warmer (mid 60s). There's also another shot at picking up some rain showers for both days, with the better chance being on Sunday too. After that front, another nice stretch of weather will slide in for a few days next week complete with sunshine, but chilly days and nights (low 50s highs and low 30s lows). We continue to keep our eye on Tropical Storm Eta too which is now moving toward the western FL coast with 70 mph winds.
