Wednesday will be the first day of full-on sunshine we've seen in a while. Expect mostly sunny skies and above average highs in the upper 40s. After that, buckle up! Highs peak around 50° Thursday thanks to a strong southerly breeze. A cold front will drive a round of rain/snow showers (mainly rain) our way overnight into Friday morning and set the stage for a much colder weekend. A strong upper low spinning over the Great Lakes will funnel colder air into the Commonwealth with highs falling from the low 40s Friday into the 30s the rest of the weekend. Saturday looks mostly cloudy and raw with scattered snow showers on and off through the day. We'll need to watch for bursts of snow capable of putting down minor to light accumulation Friday night through Saturday.
