October Opposites

From stormy to chilly

and last updated

A cold front is now pushing through the state and it is packing a punch with some stronger storms including very heavy rain, lightning, thunder and strong wind gusts. This front has had a lot of energy fed to it due to how warm we've been the past couple of days. Expect the main line to come through later tonight, but it shouldn't be severe as we won't have any more sun to fuel the storms.

After the front is through, prepare to need the coats again. Temperatures will take a big drop into our Saturday as highs should only top out in the low 50s. That will be a 25-degree drop for most in a 24-hour period! Winds will be out of the northwest and up to 10 mph making it feel even chillier. The rest of the weekend won't be much better as the clouds hang around keeping the gloomy look.
