Drier, but not better

Cold and clouds remain today

It is a chilly start to our day and unfortunately, it won't get much better as the day wears on. The cloud game will be strong today as the leftovers from the winter storm has moved northeast, but continues to send us some clouds. We will warm up very little through the day and don't be surprised if you even see a stray snow flurry today. Many of us will stay dry, or at least drier than yesterday. High temperatures will only get to the low 30s this afternoon before dropping back into the mid 20s again tonight.

A bit of sun is eventually expected to return to us, but it won't be until tomorrow. By the weekend, we're looking at another system which will bring us more rain instead of snow. Snow chances will stay at a minimum until we move into next week which is Christmas week. The extended forecast shows a chance for rain early in the week with highs pushing up toward 50 degrees by Wednesday, then another round of colder air sends temperatures back into the mid 30s by Christmas Eve, even with a chance for snow.
