It's getting crispy out there! Lexington has only picked up 0.04" of rain in the last 9 days. When you get into an extended dry stretch trending toward drought sometimes the only thing that can turn it around is tropical in nature. A Hurricane Delta deluge is inbound this weekend with isolated 10" to 15" rainfall totals possible along the Louisiana coast and inland. The Commonwealth will see 1"-2" as the remnant low tracks northeast and washes out. Showers will ramp up Saturday with rounds of heavy rain possible Saturday night into Sunday.
