Overnight temperatures have dipped to the 40s again, so it's a chilly start to our day. We've got another sunny sky ahead and that will help temperatures push back up into the low 70s, but that's still 5 to 10 degrees cooler than normal. The east coast and the deep south will see temperatures nearly 20 degrees below the norm today. Enjoy the great weather while it's here.
The high pressure that has dominated our weather will keep us high and dry for a few more days still yet. It looks like our best chance of rain comes late week and next weekend. We are watching Tropical Storm Beta as it churns in the Gulf and is expected to make landfall in southeast Texas tomorrow night. It could shift toward the Ohio Valley, bringing us rain late in the week.
