Our brand new month is kicking off with nice dry weather, for now. We even have sunshine coming back early this morning. A weak disturbance should keep most of the rain north of Kentucky, but we could even pick up a shower or two later this afternoon with an increase in clouds. Rain chances remain minimal today, but we'll see a better shot at some rain later this coming weekend.
As forecast, temperatures are still on the chilly side for this first day of October, and we won't see a whole lot of warm coming up in the days ahead. We won't rise above the upper 50s Friday, then head back into the mid 60s for the weekend. Only one day next week will be in the low 70s.
