A Much Milder End to the Week

Temperatures take a nice jump up

It's been a chilly past couple of days and the wind has certainly made it feel even cooler. If you are ready for another warm-up, you're in luck because a lovely high pressure will shift our winds and sent those up from the Deep South. That coupled with the sunshine will send our high temperatures into the low/mid 60s for the next couple of days starting tomorrow, but another cold night is ahead first. This bit of warmth will last through the weekend.

High pressure will keep us dry, too, but the wind will really pick up on Thursday. Gusts could get up to 30 mph especially in central KY and fade toward southeastern KY. After the weekend, the weather pattern shifts again toward a slightly more active one with not only rain chances, but cooler air returning.
