It'll be a slow go on the roads Thursday morning. Watch for side streets and some main roads that are snow covered and slick. 24 hour estimated snowfall shows a solid band of 1" to 3" right through the heart of the Bluegrass into eastern Kentucky. If you park outside get ready to do some brushing and scraping before you go to work. Snow departs and the cold clamps down Thursday. Even with partly sunny skies, fresh snow cover and a northwest wind will keep highs around freezing. Friday looks mostly sunny and still in the 30s. This weekend is trending messy, a milder push into the 40s Saturday will bring late day rain showers that may transition to a wintry mix overnight into Sunday morning.
