Changes we actually want

Sunshine continues as temperatures warm

For those who headed out to the polls earlier today, a jacket was a must-have. Those of you heading out later this afternoon, may not need one. Temperatures are running about 10-15 degrees warmer than yesterday thanks to the abundant sunshine and a southwesterly wind shift. No rain on the MaxTrack nor is any expected.

Moving forward, the changes we get this week will be the ones we like. Temperatures will continue to warm through the weekend. We will get about 5 degrees above normal Wednesday afternoon. By Saturday, we will top out in the low 70s which is about 10 degrees above where we typically sit this time of the year. This impressive warm up will be met with plenty of sunshine and very little rain. Thursday will be the only day that features a little more cloud coverage thanks to a passing dry cold front. The weekend looks sunny and mild, but the good kind of mild…like “early fall mild.” Clouds increase early next week as we remain in the 70s. A stronger front looks to make a pass at us around Veterans Day which will bring better chances for precipitation and more of a temperature cool down.
