After the dry Friday we’re watching thunderstorms to the northwest that will arrive for parts of the area later this evening and into tomorrow. Heavy rain along with the threat for severe storms is there, especially south and west of Lexington. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for mainly west of I-75 until late morning Saturday.
The storms will continue through the night and be with us off and on through the day on Saturday, especially early in the day. Highs on Saturday will be held in the 70’s because of the clouds and rain.
