Scattered showers continue to file in across the Bluegrass. Some of these showers have been heavy rain maker, and they are in no really hurry. Given the slow-moving and intense nature of this activity, the Flash Flood Watch will remain in effect through midnight. There is one more day with shower and storm chances. A strong cold front will come sweeping through the Bluegrass tomorrow. It will push out the soggy conditions, and usher in much drier and more comfortable air.

A pleasant stretch is inbound for the rest of the week with highs in the 70s and sunny to partly cloudy skies. There will be a brief interruption mid-week as a weak disturbances drops in. Spotty showers will be possible late Wednesday into Thursday. Another layer of cool will also move in. Next weekend will be back to feeling like summer with highs in the 80s and chances for at least a few storms.
