Steady Warm Up This Week

Well, it wasn’t the prettiest of Mother’s Day. Skies were overcast and it was rather cool. Any leftover showers and sprinkles are on the way out, but the cooler air will stick around a little while longer.

Another cold front will take a swipe at the Commonwealth. We won’t get much, if any, rain out of it but the start of the work week will have a definite spring chill. Highs will struggle to climb into the lower 60s. The cloudy skies won’t help matters. The rest of the week will feature a steady warm up. This warming trend will cover more than twenty degrees. By next weekend it will be feeling like summer with highs in the mid 80s. Along with the warmer days, the week will be relatively dry. Isolated showers and storms are possible Wednesday, otherwise we’ll enjoy a mix of sun and clouds throughout the weekend.
