Warmer days are on the way! We’ll start to feel the effects of the warming trend as early as tonight with lows closer to 40° to 30°. We are tracking highs to climb into the 50s for the rest of the work week. This warming trend will also bring back active weather. But this round will be wet, rather than wintry.
A low will track out of Texas and head straight through the Bluegrass over the next 72 hours. Clouds will increase throughout the day tomorrow. Rain will hold late Thursday night. We are tracking off and on showers to continue through at least the first half of Saturday. We can’t rule out a little thunder for parts of the area Friday night as the system moves through the Commonwealth.
