A Winter Weather Advisory for southern and southeastern Kentucky goes into effect tonight and will run through 4 PM Sunday.
We are tracking a heavy, wet snow to arrive this evening. There may be a brief period of mixed precipitation (sleet or freezing rain with snow) early Sunday morning. Accumulating snow possible for these areas with the highest totals across the mountains of southeastern Kentucky.
Travel could be very difficult. Use caution if you will be traveling tonight and tomorrow.
