We’re in for a wet, chilly & dreary start to your Veterans Day weekend but it will get better! Cold Friday morning rain will transition to scattered afternoon showers with highs in the 40s.

We’ll tank in the mid/upper 20s overnight- a few Friday night/Saturday morning snow showers/flurries aren’t out of the question!

Saturday is tracking cold (highs in the 30s) but dry. Layer up for the parade! Veterans Day will be the pick day of the weekend, still chilly but partly sunny and dry with highs pushing 50°. Sunday morning lows in the low to mid 20s will be the coldest of the season so far- frigid stuff! Lexington has been down to freezing but hasn’t experienced a hard freeze this season. Detach and store your hoses- prep for a couple of very cold mornings this weekend and again toward the middle of next week!
