Despite the chill, today turned out to be a really pleasant late October day. And there’s more where that came from… We are tracking an extended dry and sunny stretch that will take us through most of the work week. High pressure will keep us sitting pretty.

Fluctuating temperatures will be the big weather story. Another night with lows near freezing is on tap. A Freeze Warning is already in place for all of central and eastern Kentucky. Don’t forget about your tender plants. The work week starts with a boost. We are tracking back-to-back days with highs near 60°. A moisture-starved cold front will sweep through Kentucky mid-week. This will bring very little change to our weather except a drop in temperature. Highs temperatures will drop back into the 50s and there will be more chances for frost during the latter part of the week. Overall we are tracking temperatures to remain below-normal.
