As Tropical Storm Michael continues to weaken and impact the Carolinas Thursday we’re tracking a significant shift thanks to a strong cold front. That relentless early October heat finally takes a backseat to more seasonable, fall weather!

Showers will end over eastern counties and Thursday will end up windy and much cooler with highs falling to the 60s. We’ll bottom out well below average with 50s on the way Friday & Saturday. Mostly clear skies overnight will tank lows to either side of 40° Friday morning. You can finally swill that Pumpkin Spice Latte without breaking a sweat!
