FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) – KSP seeks to retain the national title for ‘Best Looking Cruiser’ and needs your vote in the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) annual contest.
Competing against state law enforcement agencies across the U.S., troopers are asking for your vote...especially as they face off against Georgia State patrol after a contentious vote last year.
KSP won by 600 votes.
KSP’s photo entry features a 2019 Dodge Charger, equipped with a V-8 that showcases a 370 horsepower engine. And where else should you display all that horse power? Churchill Downs, of course.

“It only seemed fitting to showcase this cruiser in the ultimate ‘horse power’ setting – none other than legendary, Churchill Downs,” said Bonzo. “This contest will be a race to the finish and we are hoping to retain the title in 2019.”
Voting began Monday, July 15 here. The contest ends on Monday, July 30, 2019 at 3:00 PM EST. Timing is crucial in this race, only social media interactions will be counted after the two week period ends.
