The swirl of that stubborn, cut-off upper low will weakens as it wobbles along the KY/TN border but still has enough oomph to spark scattered showers and t-showers Thursday and Friday before finally exiting for your Memorial Day weekend. Watch for strong storms and locally heavy rain. We'll transition to a more typical and much more summery pattern this weekend as a ridge of high pressure sets up southeast. Expect a daily (mainly afternoon & evening) chance for scattered showers and storms with highs hovering in the upper 70s to low 80s through the weekend and into next week!
