Sunshine returns today! Overnight showers have quickly wrapped and it won't be long before the clouds clear out too. By this afternoon we'll become partly sunny with highs around 60°. This kicks off a warming trend that will carry us through the start of the weekend. Highs will get a boost in the 70s tomorrow. By Saturday some spots could be pushing 80°.
A parade of systems will run to our north. Eventually some showers and storms will find their way into the Bluegrass on Friday. There will be a better chance for storms, some of which could be strong, on Saturday. Activity will exit early Sunday and we'll manage to squeeze in some sunshine before the end of the weekend. Although we will be drying out, temperatures will be cooling back down. Highs will return to the lower 50s early next week. Another rain maker is brewing for this time next week. This system also looks to keep things on the chilly side.
