The next series of Lexington Legends baseball has our hometown heroes taking on the Greenville Drive from South Carolina. The forecast is shaping up to give us a few days of nice weather. An incoming storm will add a few woes for Thursday.

*Game times and information below may not be current, check the Lexington Legends website for more information: https://www.milb.com/lexington

Thursday:
Vs. Greenville Drive
7:05 PM EDT
Promotion: Thirsty Thursday
Promotion: Bark in the Park
The good news is that we’re getting the weather “problem day” out of the way early in the series. The only drawback is that it’s also the same night as Thirsty Thursday and Bark in the Park. Still, if you and your pup don’t mind the chance for showers or storms, you could try your luck. Although the likelihood of a delay is up for the Thursday night matchup.

Friday:
Vs. Greenville Drive
7:05 PM EDT
Friday will bring a much better forecast for baseball lovers. Rain for Friday will fall mostly in the morning hours. As we move into the afternoon the rain chances drop off. Skies will clear and the sun will make things look nice, and will also make it feel better. Temperatures will run cooler thanks to the cold front, but mild weather is expected for both first pitch and as the game wraps up.

Saturday:
Vs. Greenville Drive
6:35
PM EDT
Promotion: Post-Game Fireworks Show
Saturday brings another chance for showers around the Bluegrass. That being said, they will be a lot more scattered than those of Thursday. Therefore, the chance of rain showers is much lower. Still, a rain jacket would be a good idea in case a shower rolls in overhead.

Sunday:
Vs. Greenville Drive
2:05
PM EDT
Promotion: Fyre Festival Day
Promotion: Kids Get in Free!
Promotion: Family Playtime on the Field
Sundays are always a blast at Whitaker Bank! The kiddos get a chance to run the bases and play some catch before the game, all while not having to purchase a ticket. Sunday is looking wonderful for those wanting to get on the field, but also for those who want to watch the game as well. Temperatures will be mild throughout and rain chances drop as the game rolls on. The Legends are hosting “Fyre Festival Day” paying tribute to the 2nd anniversary of the failed event. White tents, cheese sandwiches, yoga…if you’re not familiar with the Fyre Festival, check out the documentary on Netflix. Trust me, it’s worth the watch.
