True Blue Kansas City Forecast

Posted

This post is for the lucky True Blue fan traveling to Kansas City to cheer on the Cats in the Sweet Sixteen, or the True Blue fan dreaming of cheering on the Cats in person in Kansas City.

If you’re heading out a day early to take in the barbecue scene, you’ll have a really nice day to do so. Much like it will be here, highs will be near 70 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds.

The unsettled weather will get started a day earlier out west. A slow-moving cold front will sling through the Midwest and Ohio Valley into the weekend. Rain and storms will begin in Kansas City late Thursday night/early Friday. Showers will hang around until Saturday. Behind the front temperatures will drop some 20-degrees. It will be a little cool-ish for Sunday’s possible Elite Eight match-up.

If you’re front row seat happens to be your living room, you’re winning weather-wise. Temperatures will remain in the 60s to near 70 degrees into the start of the weekend. Thursday is looking really good. A few showers will be around on Friday. More widespread rain and storms will be here on Saturday. The “chill” will hold off until Sunday.
