Midweek Cold Snap Incoming

Posted

Once we’re out of this rain and cloud mess, the weekend will be saved with mild temperatures that will make you feel good outdoors. If you thought Thanksgiving Day was nice, wait till you get outdoors today and tomorrow. Showers will be light or mist through the mid-afternoon today. Not everyone will get them, but some will. If not, it’s cloud coverage until we get to sunset.

Clouds will be increasing through tomorrow, but not before temperatures boost up to the mid-60s! It will feel nice. However, it will be short-lived. A couple of cold fronts Monday will take temperatures from the nice and mild 60s down into the 30s in a matter of a day. In fact, temperatures will drop through the day Monday as cold rain showers soak us.

At the tail end of the rain, the freezing air could even produce a few light snow or flurry showers. Luckily for us, temperatures will not be cold enough to collect any snow, but roads may be a little slippery for all of your commutes Tuesday.

As we get into the heart of the upcoming week, precipitation chances drop, but the cold remains. Temperatures will fall to the mid-30s for afternoon highs through midweek. We will recover, but not until next weekend.

Have a heavy jacket prepped for the upcoming cold snap!
