LEXINGTON, Ky. — Former Lafayette High School offensive lineman Jedrick Wills, Jr. was selected 10th overall in the NFL Draft Thursday night by the Cleveland Browns.
Wills left Alabama after his junior season where he protected the 5th overall pick Tua Tagovailoa. He was a second-team Associated Press All-American and first-team All-SEC while starting all 13 games on the year at his right tackle spot.
At the Combine, Will's 40 was fast (5.05 seconds), his 20-yard shuttle was so-so (4.84 seconds) and his arms measured 34 1/4 inches.
The Browns were 6-10 in 2019.
