Kentucky Softball Quarterfinal Game Moved to Friday

Posted

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The 2019 SEC Softball Tournament has shifted its Thursday and Friday schedule, and No. 4 seeded Kentucky is affected.

Due to heavy rains and severe weather in the College Station area all day, the SEC Tournament will only be able to play three games on Wednesday. Because of that, Kentucky’s game against the winner of Ole Miss and Mississippi State will be moved from Thursday night to Friday at 11 a.m. ET.

The game will still be shown live on the SEC Network.

Mississippi State defeated Texas A&M on Wednesday morning 3-2, and was scheduled to play Ole Miss on Wednesday night. However – that game has moved to Thursday and the winner will play UK on Friday.

If UK advances to the semifinals on Friday – the semifinal game will be played at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
