Despite losing its first game of the season, the UK Women’s Basketball team moved up one spot in the Top 25 to No. 18.
The Wildcats are now 9-1 on the season following Sunday’s loss to rival, Louisville, 80-75. Rhyne Howard had her 10th straight double scoring game to start her career and almost had a triple-double. The freshman finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.
The Wildcats will look to get back in the win column on Saturday when they host Middle Tennessee at 1:00 in Memorial Coliseum.
