LEXINGTON, Ky. – Following Saturday’s 14-7 win over Vanderbilt, Kentucky made the jump from No. 14 to No. 12 in the AP poll. The ranking is Kentucky’s highest this season (13th before Texas A&M).
The Wildcats are 6-1 this season and travel Missouri next weekend for a tough task against the high scoring Tigers, who are coming off a 65-33 win over Memphis.
Kentucky is bowl eligible for the third straight season.
Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, and Texas A&M represent the SEC in the poll.
