LEXINGTON, Ky. — Barclay Tagg, the trainer for Tiz the Law confirmed today that his colt will not run in the Preakness Stakes on October 3.
Barclay Tagg makes it official. Tiz the Law to skip Preakness & train up to BC Classic. "Since we have no shot at winning the Triple Crown our big goal with this colt is of course the Breeders’ Cup,” he said. “We really want to go into the Breeders’ Cup with a fresh, happy horse"

Tiz the Law won the first leg of this year's Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes, by three and 3/4 lengths. However, he broke from the 17th post at the Kentucky Derby and finished 2nd to Authentic. The only two losses of his career have come at Churchill Downs.
And with Tiz the Law being pointed toward the Breeders' Cup Classic that means his next race will be at Keeneland November 7th.
