LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — CRK Racing's Skinner has been scratched from the Kentucky Derby 149 due to an elevated temperature, according to Kentucky Horse Racing Commission Stewards.

The horse was removed by trainer John Shirreffs.

The field is now down to 19 starters.

This comes a day after Practical Move, Lord Miles, and Continuar were scratched from the race Thursday.

The last time four horses were scratched from the Kentucky Derby was 2015 when 22 horses entered the race.
