The Lexington Legends used a Reed Rohlman two-run walk-off to win back-to-back South Atlantic League Championships. The Legends winning the series 3 games to 1.
Lexington jumped on top in the game with a Jeison Guzman RBI single. The Crawdads tied it up in the 7th when Pedro Gonzalez hit a solo home run.
The teams played all the way to the 13th inning on Friday the 13th. The Legends started the bottom half with an Eric cole walk. After a strikeout and fly out, Rohlman came to the plate and delivered a deep shot to right that just crossed the fence into the party deck and the celebration was on for Lexington.
Former Kentucky pitcher Zach Haake went 6 innings of no-hit ball with six strikeouts before giving way. Tyler Grey earned the victory by pitching the final two innings.
The Legends are the first back-to-back winners in the South Atlantic League since the Lakewood BlueClaws in 2009-'10.
