LEXINGTON, Ky- Kennedy Igo led Clark County with 14 points, and the Cardinals held off a late Mercy comeback in a 65-64 win.
The Cardinals struggled from deep, only shooting 6-25 for the game, but made up for that in the trenches. Clark County grabbed 16 more rebounds than Mercy and outscored them in points in the paint, 2nd chance points, and points off turnovers.
The Cardinals advance to take on Ryle, Friday at 1:30.
