LANDOVER, Md. (LEX 18) — Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was carted off of the field with an apparent serious knee injury on Sunday.
The play happened early in the third quarter against the Washington Football Team, when Burrow was sacked. The impact showed his leg being bent backwards, then he remained on the field in obvious pain.

Before being carted off, players from both sides went over to pay their respects to the number one overall pick, who's been having a stellar rookie season.
After the 20-9 loss, Burrow tweeted out that he will be out for the remainder of the season.
