LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky golfer Alex Goff won the 106th Clark's Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Amateur Championship Friday at Lexington Country Club.
Goff shot an overall 12-under for the tournament, which took place September 9-11.

The redshirt sophomore carded a 67 in each of the first two rounds, shooting the lowest round in the field on Thursday.
This is his first tournament win as a member of the Kentucky golf team.
"This is a true honor just to do this in front my teammates and my new home in Lexington and to see everyone come out and show their support this week. It's awesome to be the champion," said Goff. " I definitely can build off of this and draw from this when I'm in this position again and use it to my advantage and learn from it and go forward."
Andy Roberts finished second in the tournament with an overall score of 8-under.
Joshua Roberts finished third with and overall score of 6-under.
Per NCAA rules, Goff is unable to accept a purse of $750 for winning the tournament.
