LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — It appears Kentucky and Louisville will face off against each other on December 26 this season.
Social media was buzzing Tuesday after Calipari and Louisville head coach Chris Mack exchanged jabs about the two teams not agreeing on when to play each other this season.

That tweet from Mack was in response to what Calipari said earlier Tuesday when talking with the media, saying "We have the date and the time (for the game), unless that changes. If they choose not to play, then we’ll plug in another team. We already have that team set."
Just hours after Mack responded on Twitter, Calipari responded with this:
See you December 26th. Can't wait!

On Friday, Calipari released a statement saying UK planned to face Louisville as contracted. He ended his statement saying “My hope is they are not trying to end this series because it is important for this state that we play.”
