The No. 6 Kentucky men's basketball team picked up a gutsy 95-90 victory over Mississippi St. on the road to improve to 13-3 (2-1 SEC) this season.
Kentucky was led by Jaxson Robinson, who scored a season high 27 pts and was 7-10 from downtown.
As a team, the Wildcats were 16-32 from beyond the arc. Mississippi St. was 12-40.
Five other Wildcats scored in double figures. Otega Oweh had 15 pts and 8 reb, Andrew Carr had 13 pts and 6 reb, Ansley Almonor had 11 pts (9 pts in the second half), Lamont Butler had 10 pts and 8 ast, and Amari Williams had 10 pts and 12 reb.
Kentucky improves to 13-3 (2-1 SEC) this season and will return to Rupp Arena Tuesday to take on Texas A&M. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
