LEXINGTON, Ky. — The No. 13 Kentucky Softball team will play five games against three different teams over three days at the 2021 Spring Games, it was announced by the tournament.

Kentucky will be playing all five of its games at the Legends Way Ballfields in Clermont, Florida, just outside of the Orlando metro area.

The tournament begins on Friday, Feb. 26 with Kentucky playing New Mexico State at 12:30 p.m. ET. The action on Friday continues with a match-up against Florida International at 3 p.m. ET that afternoon.

Saturday will see UK play Stetson to start the day at 11 a.m. ET before a second game with New Mexico State at 1:30 p.m. ET that afternoon.

The Spring Games wraps up for Kentucky at 12:30 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon against Stetson, the second meeting of the weekend between those two teams.

UK and New Mexico State last met on opening weekend of the 2018 season, with NMSU taking the high-scoring series two games to one. In UK’s last meeting with FIU, the Wildcats set a school record with 22 hits, scoring 19 runs in a Friday night showdown with the Panthers at The Spring Games a year ago.

Kentucky leads the series with Stetson, 2-0, with the team’s only meeting coming in a doubleheader in 2009, Rachel Lawson’s second year in charge of the Wildcats.
