Lexington, KY (LEX 18) — Lexington Catholic Senior Dominique Morris is the 2019 winner of the Tommy Bell Award, given to the most outstanding high school student-athlete in the city of Lexington.
Dominique has been on the varsity soccer team since she was a sophomore, and has been a part of two regional championship teams as well as a state finalist team.
Morris will attend Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering in the fall as a Davis Scholar majoring in mechanical engineering.
After her undergrad studies, Dominique plans to earn her MBA and use her background to help underdeveloped communities sustain financial and educational resources.
