HALFTIME: Princeton Leads Kentucky 37-33

RALEIGH, N.C. (LEX18) — It’s been a tough start to the NCAA Tournament for the University of Kentucky’s women’s team, with Princeton taking a 37-33 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Princeton led 20-16 at the end of the first quarter. The Tigers shot 52 percent from the floor.

At the start of the second quarter, Princeton took a 27-18 lead. Kentucky rallied to take a two-point lead with 4 minutes left. The Tigers finished the half on a 6-0 run, leading 37-33 at the half.

Eight Wildcats scored in the first half. Rhyne Howard led the way with seven points.
